Our chaperones are all accomplished skiers or boarders. Together, we have over 50 years of chaperone experience in working with student groups.

The team is fully trained in emergency response and first aid, including a SOLO certification. On-mountain, we are in touch with each other and the ski patrol via radio, and we even practice our own on-mountain response drills.

You have a great crew taking care of your child!
Steve Rugoletti

September 2023 will mark the beginning of Mr. Rugoletti's 35'th year in the Timberlane School District. Between his time at the Middle and High Schools, Steve has been leading the Timberlane Ski club for the past 32 of those years! An avid downhill, cross country, and telemark skier, Mr. "Roog," as the kids call him, chaperones the Snowriders to share his love of the outdoors with others. When he's not racing Mr. Lena down the slopes, this mildly eccentric Physical Science and engineering teacher can be found on winter weekends hanging off the sides of frozen waterfalls in his ice-climbing adventures.

Tim Lena

Mr. Lena has been with the Timberlane School District since the fall of 1997 as our Student Assistance Program Director. He has been a chaperone with the Snowriders since 2003. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Lena enjoys both alpine and cross country skiing, hiking, camping, sailing and SCUBA Diving. Some of his favorite skiing has been in the mid-west in Colorado, Utah and Montana. He has also enjoyed skiing the Swiss Alps at Davos and Grindelwald, but his most favorite place of all to ski is right here in NH at Pat's Peak with our Timberlane Students. Tim currently holds the office of president in the chaperone's "Pat's Peak Cookie Club."
